Instructor's Credentials 

Award winning Australian designer & couture upcycle practitioner of over 20 years, Deborah Paulino. Deborah apprenticed in highend fashion manufacturing at Mirrage, Melbourne, Australia. Received an award for original design couture at the Australian Fashion Awards. Studied fine art at Heatherly, London UK. Exhibited a drawing at the Royal Academy, London UK. Then working and teaching costumes, custom couture and upcycled couture in San Francisco, USA. Pioneering and innovating upcycled couture since 2001.


5 Weeks interactive design, construction and business startup. Lessons, research and handson practice.   • Sorting & cleaning unloved clothes to upcycle.
  • Shortcuts for time & costs & keeping quality.
Two Weeks - Construction & Finishings
  • Designing deconstruction & reconstruction.
  • Sequencing reconstruction & materials.
  • Garment construction & sewing.
  • Custom tailoring, fittings & alterations.
  • Couture finishing touches and tricks.
  • Recommended how-to web vids. 

One Week - Business & Marketing

  • Starter incomes and marketing. 
  • Building your upcycle fashion brand.
  • Startup cost effective efficiency.
  • Website & marketing design basics.
  • Curating media and fashion shows.


Tuition
$ 6,500 for 5 Weeks & Certificate
Designing & developing an upcycled fashion collection & business.

Tuition Deposit $1,750 for skill assessment and custom lessons design. Refundable 50% if course cancellation within 6 months. Optional payment plant for remainder of tuition. Tuition donations handled by our partner GigsList. Pay with credit or debit card or Paypal.
